No hit prediction! Haha! I like those predictions but I'm not sure he will see much power play time with the acquisitions of Heatley & Setoguchi and hopefully a healthy Latendresse. I expect Gillies to get some time on the power play as well. We'll see! Should be a fun season!

I'm excited about the possibility of finally having another 40 goal scorer on the squad.

It's wait and see, I guess, but so far Heatley is saying and doing all of the right things. I really hope he's healthy, because he'll be playing with two awesome passers in Koivu and Bouchard, so that makes me really excited to hear that.

I may be in the minority but I was pretty bummed out to see Heatley get traded out to San Jose. What you need to be sure is, if he's going to score 40+ goals this year, he needs to be 100% healthy. A lot of people overlook that Heatley had a groin injury that started at the end of his 2009-2010 season and extended throughout this season. Add that to the fact that he had a broken hand and a high ankle sprain, 26 goals IS a down year for Heatley. Although I get the speed of Havlat is something the Sharks can use, I just don't see any other upside for this trade other than cap space for San Jose.

If he's 100% healthy and he has a solid passer (which Koivu should be), you should see Heatley score about 35-40 goals. As much as SJ fans want to bag on Heater, he was a point per game player in 2009-2010 when playing with Thornton and Marleau... and even with injuries and playing on the 2nd line, he still produced 64 points, enough to be 4th on a strong Sharks team in terms of points. Not too bad.

Wish Heatley all the luck in the world... except those 4 games when the Wild face the Sharks. ;)
